Not disagreeing with you, just don't understand the reasons why?
The card is stored is a safety deposit box unexposed to the light, but are there other reasons? Thanks for the welcome guys.

Cards can adhere to a lucite holder, resulting in paper loss once removed. The longer they're in there, the more susceptible they are.
