I was going to say I was "chomping at the bit" to get to the Post Office this morning, but the Urban Dictionary says the correct usage is "champing at the bit"?
The USPO has been holding my mail for nearly a month, and here are the football cards that were waiting for me. The most "expensive" in this group are two of the 1948 Bowmans #26 Bob Waterfield (RC) and #36 Bulldog Turner (RC SP) each "valued" in NM at $275. Only two more cards remain until I complete my 1948 Bowman set #99 Harry Gilmer (RC SP), and #108 Buford Ray (RC SP and the last card in the set). Larry ![]()
