I don't have camera facilities, but I have the 1949 1st series sheet with the 3rd series sheet overprinted on the back (Ted Z. has seen this several times while visiting my home). All the other pix in this thread are all good stuff!

Yep, really happy with that W529-8 sheet. I remember being the underbidder to you in the Legendary auction, but managed to get it in Hertage when you decided to sell. I really never see these for sale at all (or at least the Ruth) whether in sheet form or singles.

This partial scan is from a complete sheet of the East Hills (Pittsburgh) 25-card set. The sheet size is 16 1/4 " wide by 21 1/2 " long. My scanner isn't large enough to show the entire sheet. When I get around to taking a photo of the entire sheet, I'll replace this scan of with the complete sheet. TED Z . Last edited by Leon; 02-29-2016 at 09:27 AM. Reason: resized image to fit screen |

Hey Danny Gee, does time fly, you showed me your 1949 Bowman (36-card) sheet 35 years ago. And if you recall, at that time it solved a 32 year old mystery regarding the missing #4 card. TED Z . |
