I thought I had all versions of this pin until I picked this one up on eBay earlier today. This is the first time if have come across this version. It is 3.5" in size. Normally the Pittsburgh text and Pirates text are the same sized font and the Buc image is located in the center of the pin. On the other versions there are charms and a larger space between the 1971 and the text. As can be seen this is not the case with this pin. I have also never encountered one of these pins with the congratulations text on the banner. If anyone has an idea of what in the hell a Zum Zum is I would love to hear about it.

Is that flattery or confirmation of my obvious lunacy? I set my snipe for this pin at $200 and won it for a whopping $20.50. If that isn't an indictment of my lack of common sense and addiction I don't know what is.

Ha, been there. I've set many nuclear snipes praying that I was the only idiot out there. Thankfully it hasn't bitten me in the ass too often.

I ran across this:
