Agreed. There's nothing wrong with stretching a little if it's a card you really like and are planning to keep. I've paid a little more than I originally planned or VCP said I should for a couple of cards lately, but they're keepers.
There's another thread going about how 15 CJs have risen in price a lot lately. Perhaps this card is just following that trend.

I thought that was a pretty nice Plank for the grade and not surprising that it caught a lot of attention. That is a very desirable grade that appeals to a wide range.
I know I have overpaid before and will again for those cards that are significant to my collection. It's an unfortunate part of getting emotionally involved but not something I regret. Nice work and enjoy the card
