Here is my Juan "Gon" card with a Terry Taylor back......since SGC does designate this variety of 91 Topps, a set builder could indeed complete a registry set with all NFL backs.

I agree Sean you need to go for it. Just to help I have a few 100 blank front 90 Topps football I would send you so you could just draw whatever front you want on them.

I think back in the day one of my NJ Dealer friends had 1979 Baseball with 78 Football Backs

Those would be cool to have 1 of. I have wrong backs with 79 Topps fronts and 78 Topps backs. Both sides are baseball though.

You will also have to keep your eye out for those double front cards (image printed on both sides of the card).

Does anyone know how these BB fronts/FB backs were distributed? IE wax, rack, vending, box set?

I don't know if they distributed cut card cases in '91 but that is were I have found a ton of printing flaws and wrong backs etc.

I would agree that a cut card case would be a likely source of cards like this.
