Leon should get a cut of every sale in this thread.

I know it's not prewar; I'm looking but in the meantime I wanted to join the fun. I'm sure there's not much love for GAI,{although if you know their history these cards were graded by Mike Baker of PSA at Clev Nat'l } and especially in football either; I figured I'd offer the pair 500 shipped. Paypal F/family only. If anyone knows how to copy images I could use help; all images are stored locally on my computer. Please edit post and delete ebay links

This is a really fun thread! I'm one of those folks who has never spent $500 on a single card, but there are definitely cards I'd do that for. So I'm watching this thread with interest...

I could start a $1000 thread if Leon approved--might be fun as people more tempted to pick up fast grand by offering card at a bargain rate of one-of-a-kind whose value is hard to judge....

I don't think we should get too carried away with too many different threads but another could be handled if you want to. And to all members, Remember it is always caveat emptor and you are at your own financial peril where the board is concerned. (as is usual) There are no safeguards on the board so make sure you vet out your trading partner. Happy collecting..

Possibly the boldest and most beautiful of all of the Steen signed M101-2's. Just a stunning autograph. The rifle armed catcher died in 1958.

I'm 387 cards into a t206 set I've been building over the past 20+ years, and my wife's 1940 PB set isn't going to finish itself (but I'm not sure whether $500 is ballpark on anything for the grade she collects).
