They did look older. We have the advantages of electricity, heat, air conditioning, hot showers, cars, etc. For those players, life was much more difficult, so they aged faster.

I never get tired of showing these. My 1904 Allegheny Frank Selee and my 1927 Imperial Chocolates (Cuba) Postcard of Ruth and Hornsby.

I have one of these McGraw cards as well, but if I remember correctly mine is not tinted like yours.

And SGC mislabeled it as King of Spades, when any schoolboy would know that the pictured McGraw is the King of Clubs.

I'd be surprised if there's another one of these out there.

Still only THREE cards graded from the 1928 Greiner's Bread set COMBINED between PSA's and SGC's Pop Reports. These two and Joe Harris (EX Leon).

I think that is pretty exclusive!

When I got on the computer this morning I still had this page up and noticed right away that not only did SGC mislabel it, but so had I. I guess I was just reading when I posted. I edited it before leaving the computer again, but see you beat me to it.

Is yours just white (or aged tan)?

My card is in some cubbyhole or other, but if my flawed memory serves me correct, it is somewhat tannish. Then again, I might have one that is tinted just like yours, but if so I would put that down to my tendency to wear rose colored glasses.
