Hi Scott....the hours are long and the eyes get strained! I have to keep several different ones going at the same time so that I can walk away from one for a few days and come back to see what mistakes I have made or what can be done better. I have found that to be a big part of getting the likeness closer to the originals. If you decide you want to consider a commission, shoot me an email with what card(s) you are thinking about: timcarrollart@yahoo.com. Waist up, chest-up, and portraits work best (details get lost otherwise), and know that I'll only create a particular piece once.

Not vintage, certainly not iconic.....but finishing this latest commission reminded me that a particular card can be worth far more to one individual than the perceived or realized prices of said card.
