Fire-Proof Safe - Walmart carries Sentry brand safes.
I used Sentry safes for the most expensive graded cards, however the bulk of my 1954-thru-1956 Topps sets are ungraded and kept in custom-made wooden boxes. As far as theft deterrence, I keep them out of eye-sight. Most thieves will be looking for items that are much more liquid financially and the chances of them knowing how much a PSA-8 1956 Topps card is worth or how to convert it into cash would be extremely low. Of course, all this is only 'typical' and there are exceptions to everything. -Raymond
