Odd that members of a pre-WW2 baseball card message board would chose a pre-WW2 baseball card over a post-WW2 basketball card...

Dunno about you guys...but I'd much rather have one of the highest graded gretzky rookie cards as opposed to collector graded cards of the following:
t206 plank run of practically every period ruth card ever made mantle rookies(both) gehrig rookie ramly wajo cj cobb t206 hof run cj hof run(14 and 15) shall I keep going? |

A better comparison would be a Low Grade 1939 Superman #2 or a High Grade 2003 Walking Dead #1. They go for about the same price and compare two separate eras of the same hobby. FWIW I would take the #2 Superman. ![]()
