I don't think that is what Burdick had in mind. Although..... N354 does come to mind.

These are not pre-War (nor post-War either), but close enough for Net54 work! These 2 cards are 1943 & 1944 issues. I still need Speece's 1945 Centennial Flour card for my collection of players who were on the 1924 Senators team- a complete 1945 set was just sold in the Seattle auction - if the winning bidder intends to break up the set, kindly LMK.

Hi Jerry, I just noticed your Mothers Bread cards. All I can say is "Holy Cow!"

I've just started wondering about this:
Every D310 with an Aldon Candy Co. Stamp that I've seen has been printed near the bottom of the card, with many incomplete due to being cut from the sheet right around where the stamp is... ...my question is: why aren't there any D310's with a incomplete Aldon Candy Co. stamp at the top? Were D310 sheets different from most standard card sheets (for example, having a space inbetween every card)? Any other explanation? Or have I just not looked hard enough? Sorry for the lack of good grammar, gotta type this quick and go for dinner. Attached is a link (the file is too large for uploading) to my D310 with a incomplete Aldon Stamp: http://imgur.com/a/1XUlb -Owen

I have always assumed that the cards were hand stamped after they were already cut down to size.

You can say that again (except change it now to General Baking)!
