It has been some time since this thread was on the main page, so why not let Mr Burns kick it back to the top. For the T206 printing guys, this is interesting because it appears to show a that there may have been 2 green layers on this card. There is a misregistration of the green and the red on the front and what looks like a weak roller transfer of the yellow layer on the back. Also, for Johnny, some nice fat, clearly hand-cut borders.

Nice Bryan!

Quite a lot going on with that card.

Yellow ghost on back
Multiple color shifts on the front
Additional background shade possibly from another card on the front
Hand-cut borders

Cool card indeed!

Red ink was usually last applied in the 6-color printing process of the T206's....and, this M. Brown card is certainly evidence of this.

I picked up this Willett. This is the seventh different one that I know of
so there must have been quite a few sheets printed with whatever caused the
damage.

It's actually a nail. And those are very cool cards, because they're proof the set was printed on a flatbed press that was printing from stones. I think I had a pretty involved post about it a while ago. It may have been a PM.

Wondering how many hands this Burns has passed through. I'm the current proud owner. My 2nd scrap ever.

Miscut Wallace - For the Overall, would this be just a Sweet Cap bleeding onto the front over time, given it's a PB back or a WST?

I assume it's the former, but is one of my more peculiar cards and would like to hear thoughts on it. Great cards guys! - Bill

Yes, post production damage. Still a neat card to look at though. Nice Wallace.

Default Oldring

Nice Oldring with a blob of brown lettering ink on the front under Amer. and stray blue. Also has a nice plate scratch on the back!
