My 1973 Topps set is 81% complete. Putting it together one series at a time. About the begin the 5th series. I already have the Schmidt RC so that makes it a little easier.

My PSA mid-grade 1953 Bowman is a hair over 33% complete. Hope to get it closer to 50% by years end

Love that set. The quirky photos and comical air brushing are so bad, it's good. The Luis Alvarado is my favorite card from that set.

Not really on-topic, but thought I'd respond to this:

"I sure wish one of the manufacturers would make T218/Goudey pages and 51-52 Bowman pages again!"

I hate seeing cards through the page that I'm looking at, so to display smaller cards in a binder I cut down a 3/5 card and slide that behind Goudeys etc. It also gives the smaller cards a nice little frame.

If you haven't already done it or been told....Business card sheets available from Office Max fit 1951/52 Bowman's just fine.

I would like to complete my 55 Bowman baseball set this year. I have 280 of the 324 (includes variations) or 86% complete. I need 36 Hi#s and 8 low #s. Aaron, Banks, and Campy are the big ones left to get. Some of the High #s are kind of tough to find in the condition I am looking for. Grade 5-6 or raw equal. The hunt is a lot fun. The national in Chicago this year will help.

I do have extras to trade if anybody is interested.

Michael, congratulations on your progress of the General Foods' issues, bro. You might find some useful information you didn't know in my new book, though it's doubtful. However, there's a bunch of priceless stories and those you would not have, in all likelihood. Such stories truly complement one's enjoyment of the cards and coins they collect. To shorten my "pitch", Google the book's title, Never Cheaper By the Dozen, for the press release written last spring by former Sports Collectors Digest editor, Tom Bartsch.

1960 Topps I need 103 cards to finish it off of a possible 572, been working on it for almost 4 years now. Been picking up mostly Raw cards and love them in original form

Been wanting to start another set prefer Vintage Topps 1980 or before of some sort.

Also may lower expectations on what condition a little

started the 53 set in psa 5 or better in October of last year.. All need to have good centering appeal with minimal chipping on the black or red edge..

Currently sitting at 215/271 78.47% with the mantle mays paige and robinson as the major roadblocks.. just waiting for the right ones on those and most tht pop up are either low grade or too nice for what I want to pay.. 5.56 overall grade

I am stuck on 500/792 with my 1972 Topps baseball set. I have 11 coming from COMC. But they won’t get delivered until November at this point.

I have some Civil War books that I ordered a while ago that are going to be here this month. So I gotta pay for them first. Civil War history is my other hobby. Sometimes very expensive, especially collecting 1st editions.

Just purchased the final four cards this past weekend to complete my 1977 Topps Baseball set. They should arrive in a couple of days and I am looking forward to putting them in the binder and wrapping up this project. Not an earth-shaking accomplishment, but I am pumped because this was one of the sets I collected as a kid and it certainly holds some great memories.

I finished that set just a couple of months ago. It was a fun run for me for sure.
