I don't see where Bob deserves any grief here.
The Agganis story makes for very interesting reading. Particularly in my mind the question whether he received substandard medical care resulting in his premature and tragic death.

Agreed. Thanks Peter! It's very similar to the situation our veterans are in today in their dealings with our VA hospital. It's an EXTREMELY rare program! Almost to the point where it is considered SCARCE!

Say what????? ![]() Good luck with the sale. You might go try it on ebay and get some real exposure to see if your price point is correct. |

Cant...it's too scarce. Hard to price when you have never seen any for sale. It is that rare. The only place you can see the past two sales from the last 15 years is Worthpoint, and honestly, how many of ya'll are worthpoint members!?!?!?! With all the free info out there, no one wants to pay to be told what something is worth.

There is an Agannis ball in the current REA auction...may have them offer it to the winning bidder.

What makes you think they would do such a thing because I highly doubt they would. Better yet, see if they would be interested in consigning to their next auction.

If there is money to be made, they would do what they need to do. Obviously charge the consignor fee for the cost associated.

There is no such thing as "too scarce".
Put it on ebay with a $1,750 buy it now or best offer, and note in the description that you are open to offers. It doesn't cost anything, and you may get some offers or info from the ebay audience. I think the Net54 audience has proven to not be where it's going to sell (probably). But I could be wrong, Doug Last edited by doug.goodman; 10-24-2016 at 03:50 PM. |

It's on Ebay as well...it's here because maybe some Red Sox collector don't want to wait another 10 years for this program to show up.

Just a quick search, now that my intersest is in this again. Wonder how many more Mom and Pop places have this yearbook, but are holding on to it because of its' scarcity. Shoot them an offer, maybe they'll take $1200.

It's odd, you would think with the scarcity of this yearbook you would at least post some other examples, besides the two you found.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1955-Vi...PlS&rmvSB=true http://ourcometstreasures.com/ephemera/ I guess with a quick search, this is no good for you. I thought we were a community here, trying to help each other. Please check my sales/auctions, I have never "hyped up" my auctions. Actually, I usually just list them and let the chips lay where they may. Seems like you are out to FoCK us over with your billshit descriptions. How about just list what you have and let us determine its' rarity. If we wanted to be fluffed by descritptions we could visit any number of AH. I challenge you to put it up for auction here. I'll start it at $250 and you can take that $250 give it to Leon's charity of choice if I win. If not you win and can rub it in my face.

Whoa....language like that is absolutely unacceptable, no matter how you feel. I don't have an opinion about this thread, but please be respectful of others and general readers.
