I had a great year, but more in vintage, less in prewar. I got two sets knocked off that I had not even started...a very nice 1967 Topps and a less nice 1964 sets both completed.
Probably my best prewar pickup was a nice Broadleaf Davidson.

1. t206 - picked up an Uzit and Sweeney no B.
2. t205 - picked up PSA 6 Joss 3. Clemente - picked up PSA 7 Punchout (highest graded) 4. Picked up a BGS 9.5 Fleer Jordan RC Goals for 2017 1. Pick up at least one new t206/back 2. Pick up at least one of the four remain t205s to complete basic set 3. Pick up at least one new Clemente card.

Met my goals and then some. Added to my E121-80 and E121-120 1921 World Series collection. Found a rare Slim Sallee card in better grade than the one I had been offered at 1/4th cost, upgraded my Quinn, no W572 action so set is getting boring to me, Found a game piece of my great great Uncle Elmer Miller, maintained my T207 with various reverses and started a T205 Cubs with diffent reverses and up to 128/152 possibilities. Also went to a Cubs/ Dodgers playoff game where the Cubs won 10 to 2. Watched the Cubs win the World Series.
Goals for 2017, continue adding to T205 Cubs reverses ( need 25 more), look for T207 Cubs Napoleon backs, continue E121 World Series set, anything Elmer Miller, possibly sell W572 set if I can move it in bulk for the right price. In general, a great year and hopefully more to come.

2016 accomplishments:
1. Picked up next day news article of Ernie Shore's no-no (with Babe Ruth). 2. Picked up Cy Young's perfect game next day newspaper article. 3. Picked up a card of Dave Davenport. 4. Picke up mini W601 of Mal Eason 2017 goals: 2. Find a type 1 photo of Ernie Koob. 3. 1914 CJ Cashion 4. Swap out a PX2 Leifield for a T206 of him. 5. Swap out a Fan Craze Ames for a T206 of him. 6. Swap out T206 Cicotte for a E94 of him. 7. Swap out T206 Young for a E90-1 portrait of him. 8. Swap out M101-5 blank back of Ray Caldwell for a 1915 CJ of him. 9. Swap out M101-5 blank back of Joe Benz for a E300 of him lol 10. Pick up more no-no newspaper articles, specially Addie Joss's perfecto. This should be fun

Pick up a t213-3 Zach Wheat. Yes T-206 Hindu Zach Wheat. Yes old drum also. Babe Ruth World Wide Gum. yes picked up 2. Bambino tobacco tin. No Piedmont art stamp Zach Wheat. No 2017 goals T206 Cobb bat off. T206 Mathewson dark cap. Anything Zach Wheat I don't have. Bambino tobacco tin. Piedmont art stamp Zach Wheat.

Playing days Mathewson (T206 Tolstoi Dark Cap) Playing days WaJo (T202) Playing days Ruth ('35 Goudey 4in1) Honus Wagner (got two - '36 Fine Pens and '48 Leaf) Made at least 1 awesome garage sale find (Type 1 photo of Ruth/Gehrig/Foxx) Made great headway on many sets (Diamond Stars, '35 Goudey 4in1, '41 Play Ball, among others) Made it to 64 on my pre-1952 type collection Made it to 18 on my T206 back run 2017 Goals: Playing Days Gehrig Playing Days Cobb Playing Days C.Young Playing Days Joe Dimaggio Playing Days Plank Get to 80+ on my type collection Finish '60 Fleer (4 left) Get at least 5 more T206 backs Keep it going on all of my current sets Don't start any more sets...
