Never say never!
I once lost some cards in Oak Creek for three weeks that I feared were sunk. They found me upon surfacing.

If my memory is correct we(Frank and I) had one that was lost for a short time. I can also say that I have had packages lost for up to 45 days with members including one with Leon that took about a month going each way. Can give the USPS a big thumbs up on never losing a single one of my packages. They have taken several weeks to deliver 100's of them though.
