January Pick-Up

1882. The P&S add is the back of the trade card in the 3rd picture. The trade card is an 1882 series H804-11 card. I got it because of the great P&S add. I don't know what that thing is on the lower right, and I am not sure I want to know .

That is a fish trap. Very rare. I sold one on ebay a few years back for big bucks.

Thanks Dan, that's cool to know. Makes sense since the original P&S catalog offered a lot of fishing tackle.

Here's one that sold for $536 in 2011 (This seller listed it as a "Frog" trap, but it is patented as a fish trap).
