A good start of the month .....
 netfebpu.jpg Got to highlight spit baller Bugs Raymond. A tragic alcoholic. The only one that could somewhat contain him was McGraw. That ended when McGraw sent him to warm up in bullpen one game, and Raymond went to a bar instead !!! Bugs was dead at 30 from brain hemorrhages suffered from many bar fights. Two great quotes on Raymond: "That man took seven years off my life." -- John McGraw "They used to say he didn't spit on the ball; he blew his breath on it and the ball came up drunk." -- Rube Marquard Fun stuff, Scott
