For those who have not met Dan, he is one of the foremost experts on T206 oddities, amongst other early baseball collectibles. I am fortunate to (still) be able to collect with my dad - and we have done several transactions with Dan. Dan has a truly remarkable collection and tends to price cards to remain in his collection (which I fully understand) but occasionally I just can't help myself. On the other hand, when Dan has purchased an item from my dad or I, it's a very straightforward process ... "what are you asking for this xx card?" Once answered, this is followed immediately by either a payment or a small smile with "I'll pass". Congrats Dan on some well deserved fame. |
