I've been working on a low grade version of this set for a decade or so. I'm not collecting the minor leaguers, so by and large my version of "complete" will be 196 cards. I'll probably pick up four variations to make it an even 200 since I am considering framing it for my basement someday.
Currently I have 167 cards. It's mostly 1's and 2's, with a few 3's and 4's in there. I'm one of those people who liberate cards from PSA/SGC holders. Since I track the exact cost, so far I have spent $5,272.93 putting this together card by card (not including shipping). I do have one broadleaf back, one Piedmont 42 & several American Beauty's. The big cards I'm missing are Cobb, Young, Wilhelm, Joss, along with a couple HOFers and a couple SP's. Also still need ~15 commons. Fun set to collect on a low budget!
