I know the Mathews card is listed on the "Scarce Card" list in the Old Judge book but just how scarce? When I found this card I knew he was on that list and knew who he was and about his career. And that he had very few cards issued (only other I could find was the N690-1 KBats and the N690-2 KBats Cabinets) After doing research to get an idea of value we (the seller and I) could only find one Mathews card that had been auctioned....in November 2007. A PSA3 on eBay went for $1000+. No VCP listings. I'm sure there's been private sales since just like mine here but no auction sales?
Any input will greatly appreciated

It's been a big month for me. A lot of progress. More importantly other than my WAJO pitching I hadn't picked up any "Big" HOF cards. I got my first two Mattys

Picked this up last night for what I thought was a steal, assuming it would grade. I believe this puts me at 20/40 on the Dockmans.

Got it from a collector friend in a private sale who wishes to remain anonymous
Actually all 3 came from same source (picked up an N172 Anson from same guy back in November 2016)

Very nice panels Gary I sold one with Ruth on it around 15 years ago for less than $100 I wish I still had it and don't want to know what they are selling for now.

These came in at the end of last week, my new project since completing my T3 team set:













(Love this one! The MC qualifier doesn't bother me too much)


And here they are all together:




The Wagner I'll either crack and send to PSA or sell it and buy one already PSA graded. Want them all graded by PSA for uniformity purposes.


Still need: Carrigan, Stahl [glove shows], H. Wagner [bat on left sh.], Arellanes, and Kleinow [Boston SP].

Any T206 experts know if there are any minor league T206's in which the player ended up playing their whole major league career with the Red Sox? I might be interested in adding those as well, after I finish the 13.
