Still don't get why this card is going for so much, but picked one up and surely overpaid. T206 Doc Adkins IMG_20170220_0001.jpg

Very nice panels Gary I sold one with Ruth on it around 15 years ago for less than $100 I wish I still had it and don't want to know what they are selling for now.

| Start of a new team set

These came in at the end of last week, my new project since completing my T3 team set: (Love this one! The MC qualifier doesn't bother me too much) And here they are all together: The Wagner I'll either crack and send to PSA or sell it and buy one already PSA graded. Want them all graded by PSA for uniformity purposes. Still need: Carrigan, Stahl [glove shows], H. Wagner [bat on left sh.], Arellanes, and Kleinow [Boston SP]. Any T206 experts know if there are any minor league T206's in which the player ended up playing their whole major league career with the Red Sox? I might be interested in adding those as well, after I finish the 13. |

Just got this one in the mail. Trying to be selective with my filling of the set back-wise. This makes four Piedmont 42s Of course he will be cracked open and slipped in sheets when I get around to it.

Thank you Sam! I've always liked your Ruth Leon. The centering, colors, and image of yours is as good or better than much higher grades. I always enjoy finding low end cards that look better than the technical grade. Very happy to have my own! Quote:
I mainly collect hall of famers in what I consider their best looking card. I try to find low grade cards that are centered and present exceptionally well for the grade. I have a small collection but always felt having quality was better than quantity Last edited by jbl79; 02-25-2017 at 11:58 PM. |
