Tintypes have the images reversed left to right. A tintype of a tintype would have the image correct. Same with daguerreotypes.
As far as a regular paper photographs go, if you flip the negative the image will come out reverse and you will occasionally find such photos. This is how those 'reverse negative' baseball card errors came about. Last edited by drcy; 03-02-2017 at 12:35 PM. |
