My logic is not as flawed as your question.

I was not suggesting there were 1 million people in any group of forum members.

Let's try to 'splain this to you again.

325 members of the forum (past or present, deceased or alive) have posted enough times to qualify for the "one in a million" classification based on the most recent estimate of the total US population of 325,000,000.

33 members (or really 32 and one half) qualify for the "one in ten million" classification. and can self identify themselves once the winner is identified. The person designated as the winning "One in Ten Million" entry is the thirty- third member of this group by decree, my decree.

An analogous question would be to ask what ball player has a lifetime batting average closest to .300. Cobb and many others all have career averages over .300 but would not be the closest to .300.

In this contest the member who is closest to the one in ten million cutoff is the one we are looking for. Granted Leon, for example, is in the one in ten million group, but he is also in the one in one hundred million group.

I hope this helps.

To answer your question, you would win $25.00 divided by the total membership of Net54. That would be less than half a cent which would round off to zero, but perhaps we can find a currency with a lower valuation of coins to accomodate your Pyrrhic victory, so you don't leave empty handed.
I hope you realize that I'm doing this for Peanuts --- "Good Grief"
