BLECH designs (from an opinionated graphic designer)
Topps = 1957, 1958, 1961, 1966, 1968, 1970... Any card featuring a hatless player... the "in action" cards.. Manager cards (exception: The 1960 manager cards were AWESOME with that pennant...) GREAT designs 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1960, 1965... I also like the '63, '67, '71, and (yes) '72 sets... (after that, my interest trails) Bowman 1950-'53 run was brilliant, too... (not so much the design of '53, but the photography was outstanding)
