It's fairly common for T206s and other cards from that era to have the color printing plates misaligned-- so colors can overlap at the edges and within the player image. In fact, looking for overlapping solid colors at the edges is one of the authentication techniques for T206s.
Though this can happen in all eras, even in 1970s-80s Topps. As said, a 'blurry' modern card, means the colors weren't perfectly aligned. Last edited by drcy; 03-29-2017 at 11:30 AM.
