I was in the process of refocusing my collection with the help of member Orly57. In the beginning, I was looking for a red background cobb portrait. I thought they looked better at the time. Maybe because I am a Univ. of Louisville fan. lol but I finally found a green cobb portrait. one that was not wrinkled up. wanted one that was centered well, had good color, had good edges and color. Yea the card has a few flaws: Speck of paper loss on the back and name is faded a little but that is what kept the price somewhat low. Without the flaws, the card would grade in the PSA 4-ish range. I think the previous owner Mr. Pencil is on here. The Green has grown on me. Green Cobb's are more rare than the other 3 versions, so I was also looking at the future of the card. Do I go after rare or do I go after the one there is an abundance of? I chose the Green. I LOVE IT!!!! |
