Thanks for the comment on the Hornsby. They are definitely tough, been looking for a decent Pennock for (literally) years...

I know they're just commons but these are the first pre-war/non-Topps cards I've picked up in a long time. Have been preoccupied with postwar set building.

I enjoy adding clean commons as much as big name players from any set and at a lot less money. Same history and many times a lot more interesting. (and you gotta love the nicknames!)

Those are very nice '41 PB's. I really like the vibrant colors of that set.
