Not as awesome as driving around in a new Mercedes with a PSA 1 52 Topps in your pocket though.

Ha not so sure about that. Let's say you pick up that S63 coupe (about the same value). A nice car, but in a couple years of years you'll lose half of your "investment", or more. I'll take the NM Mantle, though both are out of my league.

This one arrived today. An average grade card for us average collectors. Nice eye appeal though.

Thanks I'm very happy with it. The average card for average collectors comment is in response to one in another thread.

Great looking '51 Bowman Mantle Jesse! Definitely not an average card.

Reggie, Can you measure that card accurately? I have one that the grading company insists has been trimmed(!). Mine is wider than 2.5", but shorter than 3.5". I'm trying to get a standard deviation of the 58 Mantle dimensions. His location on the printing sheet suggests that he could always be wider (being on the end of a row), but that any miscut vertically could always make a short 3.5" height (being in the middle of the sheet vertically he could be cut short at top and bottom). Thanks!

Below my Mantle's that just arrived back from Uncle Psa.

Default pop 1

It isn't a 52 Mantle, but my 60's Holiday Inn business card is the only one PSA slabbed and they will not be grading/slabbing them in the future. Pretty cool to have a Pop. 1 only graded Mantle It is in the Red section of the Master set with (No Longer Grading). Bought raw from a Net54 member.
