FOR SALE RARE vintage 1926-1927 John Heydler Official National League Baseball in Box
Full seal around box, however seal very slightly split as seen in pix 3 Lesser quality, later year, damage and writing on box one just went for $2500 on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1928-19...p2047675.l2557 Brandon M. Grunbaum's 2014 book History of the Base Ball calls this version "Scarce" and lists the value of a Gem MT 10 one at $2500, Mint 9 at $2250. Plus...the box is listed at an additional $150...and this is not just Box, but Box with Full Seal. So based on that I would put the Retail Value on this Ball in Box from between $2400 - $2650.
