Wow, that is a nice one. Millions of great cards in the hobby and ole #144 might just be my favorite. Congrats.

Thanks Leon! The pose I drooled over as a kid in a baseball card shop in Joplin Missouri back in the 90's. It was in one of those thick 1" screw down holders which made it standout even more. Glad to pick up a very presentable example!

I think I had my "aha" moment the first time I saw one too. It was like,
ok, this is what an old baseball card should look like (to me). My first one came from a mimeograph from Gar Miller but when I got it Babe had a wrinkle right through his face which couldn't be seen from the paper picture I had seen. Quote:
