I enjoy dealing with Stephen. Long week and even though I shouldn't have, I snagged the Shag from him. He's easy to deal with, and has been before.

For y'all complaining that this is on the front page, why do you insist on clicking the thread title and commenting? It's on the front page because it's an ongoing adventure, not a sales thread. Are transactions taking place? Yes. But it's fun to watch what he's able to turn stuff into. If you don't like the thread, don't comment. Hell, don't even read it. Quit poking little holes in this guy's fun.

Good luck Stephen!

Same. I've dealt with him 3-4x now. Super easy transactions. Fast payments. As "men", a lot of you guys are really embarrassing and act like high school girls. Seriously. Just don't click on the f'n page; it's that simple! Even if I had no transactions with him, I'd still like to see how this pans out. Some of you complain about everything!

Bunch of grumpy old dudes discouraging millenials from doing something challenging and creative haha what's new. As many others have stated, how hard is to scroll past one thread out of dozens on the front page? There are plenty of unfunny, random and pointless threads started by some people that have nothing to do with vintage cards. To me this is a fun ongoing thread and it'll be interesting to see how far he gets. Keep it up Stephen, thanks again for the Jackie

So you want the COMPLAINING to stop......And you're trying to achieve this by COMPLAINING about the supposed COMPLAINERS??

I'm sorry but, oh the irony! This thread is hilarious.

If those complaining just ignored the thread and chose not to participate then there wouldn't be anyone complaining. Problem solved

Translation: I can't admit that what he's saying has merit so I'm just gonna call him a complainer too.

I personally check this thread everyday or so. A little because it’s interesting to read the comments about this thread is terrible and he’s trying to rip people off. Well the real sellers trying to rip people off are eBay fixed price listing.…right?

Mostly I try to see if he has something I REALLY want were I’m willing to pay a bit more. He’s collecting and trading for a certain goal and seems willing to work with people. Remember those words “collecting and trading.” Something we all grew up doing long before eBay.

The only thing I can grip about this thread is the cards offered are mostly small cards, except Ruth & Johnson. Remember, if you’re wanting a decent ’52 Mantle, go big are go home!

I think this is an interesting point. I think there would be a lot more interest, and far fewer detractors, if one nice card was flipped for a slightly nicer card, which is turned into a slightly bigger card, etc. I would be fascinated by that. The current path is that a big card is flipped for multiple low grade commons, which are traded for similar cards or offered up in a fire sale, etc. I personally find the path hard to follow. But maybe that's the only feasible way to achieve the goal. I think it would be awesome if the OP could achieve this, but I understand those who think that watching the journey might be a bit cumbersome.
