For some reason, I like score boards. The Old Georgetown from and earlier post had me drooling.
Whiskey score board paired with a Ralph Branca photo. Signed by Mr. Branca and inscribed "0-1 Fastball, The Shot Heard Around the World". |

Thankfully, it was a stock photo! The stretchy-seat just makes me laugh. Can you imagine that type of ad today?

Dean, that is a great idea of pairing the ads with an autographed photo of the player featured.
Stretchy Seat, lol. Mike

Thanks! I try to have fun with each project. Just like everyone else on this thread, I like advertising with a baseball tie-in. Unfortunately, with the old ads, it is getting harder and harder to get a picture signed (in person). |

I always have wondered if this sign might be a reproduction. It was purchased at a show in 2009 and repo or not, I liked it and it was too cheap to pass up.
There is another one currently for sale on ebay, which looks to be in much better condition. http://www.ebay.com/itm/162532461952?rmvSB=true Any thoughts on being a reproduction are welcome. |
