I believe that image has been shown to be Irv Young aka "Young Cy", not the HOFer.

I believe it has been ascertained this is in fact not Irv as Irv was left handed, as in E97 Young/Irv.....

I'm sorry. I thought this was a post about Madonna and I just couldn't figure out how it got into a card forum.

I've always thought this picture of Brooks was kinda ridiculous. Not sure if this is necessarily popular among collectors.

Not my card.

Along the same lines as the '58 Brooksie, for his final card we have Mr. Cub in semi-sneeze or semi-yawn mode at Shea…

I believe it is Irv-- it looks very much like him. I also believe he is stretching out his right hand to receive the ball and is not in follow-through, although the pose is inconclusive (could be reversed too). It looks nothing like Cy, IMO.

It could be Irv.... I thought it had been previously thought to be Cy...lf it is Irv it doesn't bother me but it might have Cy..... (for reference below) ...and I agree the E92 looks more like Irv than Cy....

Lots of old threads out there discussing Irv "Young Cy" Young vs "Old" Cy Young on his E90 E92 E97 E98 E105 etc. I suck at using the search, but here are a few ...
