1968 Mays Plak was listed at the beginning of this thread - Does someone here own or have a picture of it? Larry? Awesome thread - glad it got revived

Anyone know or want to speculate why the 1958 Kahn's set is so darn difficult compared to any of the other sets 1957, 1959, etc?

(Complete Set of 1975 Mengler cards, very few actually distributed)...

Its a 1958 Omaha Cardinals Picture Pack Photo. Also known as Gibson's Pre-Rookie card. Very tough.

Do you have Ralph Garr....er, Gaar.....er whatever?

A couple of others that are eluding me:
1954 Bowman Morrie Martin (44 ERA) -- can someone show me one?
1959 Kahn's Harvey Haddix
1962 Salada stupid variations
1969 Topps Pirates Rookies (no outline)
1991 Leaf Gold Rookies (numbered)

Also, if anyone can show a scan of the 1962 Kahn's Bob Purkey no autograph card, please do. Larry, have you actually seen one?

Bob---try Deans Cards and COMC on the Martin, where they have back scans on their inventory. I got mine from Deans



I think Darren here ( jollyelm) may have a 69 Pirates Rookies to trade. I could be wrong. I know he has one. He does not sell, just trades but has a large want list in his BST for trade thread ( 1960s forum). Can not remember where I got mine
