3 Finger Brown is a HOF member and a huge factor in the Cubs 07 and 08 WS wins. So I would say pretty $$$$$.

For a cut the value is from a few hundred to several hundred dollars. He is forged quite a bit on cuts so a buyer must be careful.

Yes lots of fogeries out there on him. If it is genuine and a clean example it could fetch $1,000. If the autograph is small or has a dirty background or is signed on something like a scorecard that has writing in the background that would all lessen the value. I would think even a not-so-great genuine cut would go for $300-400. Tom C |

The hobby value of a Brown sig compared to the insane value that these manufactured pieces get offered for is a joke. Does anyone actually buy a multi hundred $ autograph for $5000, just because it is in a plastic tomb??? My 5000th post .

And you see some with the beginning part of the first name gone and the end part of the last name gone...Why don't they just make a bigger piece to fit the whole name? Incredible. I've seen Mantle cuts (actually cut from a common 8x10) go for at least 3 times what the whole 8x10 goes for...and you only get partial first and last names! WOW!
