Hmmm, a Pete Reiser gray back PSA 5 or: 1) Buy lunch for 7,000 days at Chick-fil-A(TM) 2) Purchase 1.5 Honda Odysseys with that backup camera thingy and fold-down rear seats 3) Save right around 850 children from starvation in Nigeria, Tanzania, or Ethiopia I suppose you might still have money enough for a PSA 5 non-gray back after any of those alternative expenditures (not sure about that). |

I'm sorely tempted to try to bid on this card, but on the other hand, I don't really collect gray backs (yet) and this card really ought to go to someone trying to finish out their set. On a related note, the one card I have not seen come up for sale is a gray back Billy Martin. Now that is one I WOULD buy. |

I own zero gray backs but I'd sure love to have that one for my 52 Topps collection! Sadly, not a chance I will be bidding, however.

Neither of those are actual gray backs. But good for those who get taken by the flip. |

In my opinion, the front looks more grey than the back, but maybe that is a known fact and has been seen before or it could be the scan? When I first seen it, I thought I have cards, even outside of the #131-190 series/range that look more grey than that, but I assume it has been proven, beyond a reasonable doubt that greys only exist within that, #131-#190 range? (E-Bay Reiser and some of my backs)

I ended the listings so I can relist them with the "gray back" in the title.. so they go back up tonight at the same time they were listed for before. Last edited by casebusters; 09-09-2017 at 09:06 AM. |
