When do you know you're unbalanced?
Bill Buckner hit a homer in the first game I ever attended as a boy. Even after he left my hometown Dodgers he was still my favorite. I've stumbled upon and obtained Buckner's first pro contract signed as an 18-year old, his first Topps contract, his Angels contract and his final payroll check as a big leaguer.
The newest pickup is his actual passport from 1970. It has me thinking...do collectors -- like me -- ever wake up with a fleeting moment of clarity in realizing collecting doesn't make sense? If so, I'd sure like to have that clarity more often. If you want to see all the stuff on Buckner, pieces on every member of the Hall, and more than 200 non-HoF guys, please check out CooperstownExpert.com. There's decades of collecting there. I hope you enjoy the site, but please tell me the danger signs that point to being unbalanced as a collector. I may have missed a few along the way! Brooklyn Dodger Pinback Buttons
I don't see myself launching into pinback buttons, but these appealed to me as wonderful contextual smalls to augment some related uniforms and stadia items.

Caps and Pinback Buttons
Caps and pinback buttons were, in both cases, purchased separately and then combined.

A few newer pickups. I bought the Mantle papers this morning at the flea market. They are from April and May 1951.
