Welcome to the boards; this is a fun place to hang around. Just try to have a thick skin.

Default Welcome!

Chuck,

Welcome aboard. Hope you have a great time on the site.

Just one comment on the raw. For the higher priced cards, as others have said, I'd personally purchase slabbed. Then if you don't like the card in the tomb break it out and it will be raw again.

Hey, Chuck - welcome to a great Baseball community!

One word of advise tacked onto what has already been shared:

Since you collect raw cards, please take the extra step, anytime you have doubts, to ask the opinion of some of these friendly experts as to the authenticity of your current target or targets.

They will steer you right.

Have fun,
Raymond

Default Go Catamounts !!!

Hey Chuck, welcome to the "54" sir. Like your choice of cards and of course the New England connection. Great bunch of people here that are more than willing to discuss, advise and assist you with their collecting knowledge and experiences. I`m sure you`ll enjoy your time here be it just reading and learning or adding your own collecting opinions. On a side note, being in Vegas how`s the NHL`s newest addition, The Knights, being received ? See you on the board,
Murph
