...U.S.S Pennsylvania vs. U.S.S Arizona......the main field at Gitmo , 1919....very nice stadium ( the officers had shade ) ; the other field was known simply as "field number two" and was not nearly so grand as this. Baseball was a big deal to the navy.....the name is "- Renfro-" I don't know if that is the sailor or the photographer's name. The reverse is un-used , a standard postcard back ( AZO ) .. |
