It's been in an album at one time, the corners are similar to ones seen exposed to moisture and the stock gets a bit more soft, chipping away rather than wearing.

Interesting, thanks....Not sure I have seen that happen the way it looks, legitimately. Kind of like the wavy, natural borders on T201s we spoke about a while back.

It looks fine to me. The size varies a lot, it's the overall shape of the edge that is the key. The corners are a bit odd, but I think a bit of it might be the scan. And they aren't odd enough that I'd be worried. If someone could trim an edge so it would pass, why would they then put things in reverse and wear the corners?
What sizes get through grading is a bit of a puzzle, I have one that was rejected as being undersize top to bottom, but in the same group one graded that was narrower than the other was short. Both are factory. Basically, just relax and enjoy the card, it's a nice one. Steve B |
