Jeff,

I go back and forth in levels of appreciation but if I am to be as objective as I possibly can, there really is not a close second as far a beauty than this one I dubbed the "Mona Lisa" of Ruth photos. It is a verified Type 1 1915 rookie at that. Although I have posted many placed(things get stale).. It is my favorite to look at. It is almost 3d.. Ruth just coming at you crystal clear. The background is even pretty and it is not in focus. It is a masterpiece... I wish we knew who the photographer was. To think.. not conlon, bain. paul Thompson, van o etc..

Thant said...I love them all for different reasons. They all have something I cherish. They are my baby Ruths. haha

Ben

Hey Ben,

You know with those top two corners looking that way, you may want to just look for a better one and I can take this one off your hands for a few hundred $$

Amazing image!!!!!

Default A unique example Red Sox Ruth “hands”

Thank you guys. I have several more.. just need to get some pics. This one is 1 of 2 total type 1 Ruth Hands I have seen as a Member if the Red Sox. Only copy of this one. These are tougher than the Yankee copies for obvious reasons. Look at all the character on that bat! Man.. I wish I had the bat. I’ll have to settle for the photo i guess.

Awesome photos Ben, those are some of the best out there.

I remember about 5-7 years ago Henry sold a large pitching example on ebay that I still think about sometimes. I havent seen it pop up since but I remember it was amazing quality. I think it was from Dick Hoblitzell's estate and was from a local photographer (Harris maybe) and I would love to see that one again. Do you remember the one I am talking about?
