Even though I'd have to see the name and the label in the same photo to be certain, but it looks to me that the block letters are too big (too tall, too wide) to have been placed there prior to the early 1920's. Besides, Wagner was under contract starting in 1905: any Honus Wagner bat would have been a signature model after that year, no?
