Default Reports?

Let's hear some reports from the Philly Show! Unfortunately, I have to work today. Whathas attendance been like? What's making news at the show? What did you find for your collection?

Thanks!

Wow Toby, nice pick ups---wish I was there---save some money for the big auction---maybe we can have a few beers before the auction and one of us can go for Babe's Bat.

Don, sounds like a plan. I will get up there early. Also am planning on bringing beer to the auction. Just in case I get thirsty.

I think we will have a good time and also spend some money. Talk to you before the auction.

Had a good time. Finally met Leon which was great and bought a cool George Ruth Candy card from him. Saw Scott and got a neat boxing card. Dropped off 4 oversized cards at SGC. Had a beer in the (awful) casino and won $100 on a slot machine. All good. Hell of a good way to spend a day. Met Joe's son and I think wife but not the man himself, as he was running around. One of my favorite East coast shows.

Overall I would say a great mix of cards, but not a super lot of vintage. But a good mix (which is probably better for a show overall). Light on memorabilia and light on photos, but it's a show where I get to see some really good dealers like Bill Chaperell (sp ?) who I never see elsewhere, so it's very very worth the time and drive.
