Am not getting a glimmer of recognition from any of the faces. Cool postcard nonetheless. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that the mystery items are gun sleeves. The guy in the center looks like he could bench press Scott Brockelman.

I could see them being gun sleeves, with the dogs they have, but why display the sleeves but no guns? I have never seen Scott, but that dude is stout. I would not go in on him with my spikes up.

Another 1948 Paige PC, No cancellation but he did date it and write the cool letter. (same postcard but back scanned smaller)
