Are you talking about Major League Rookie cards, such as the 1947 Bond Bread, or Minor League Pre-Rookie cards like all of the great Zeenuts that have been pictured?

I am pretty sure that this postcard was issued before the 1955 Topps high numbers came out which contains his traditional rookie card. This one is postmarked August 30, 1955, but I know that they were available in early July of that year.

People are probably tired of seeing it, but here is my 1908 Rose Co. postcard of WaJo again along with a Los Angeles Herald newspaper article from the winter of 1908 which pictures an example of this card.
