The 40JF in the center brand tells us that it is a retail model Foxx bat. The number on the knob indicates the bat's length, and that also signifies that it's a store model bat. But what is up with the panorama in the background? Is it really long enough to span both ends of a 33" bat? Is it a vintage photo?

The "Powerized and Bone Rubbed" stamping to the right of the center brand also dates the bat to 1932, as this was the only year for that particular stamping.
