I stated the case for 1953 as Brecheen was in a Browns uniform and he signed with them 10-30-1952. I still stand by my argument that it should be a 1953 Bowman Proof. SCD listed it as 1952.

While I have not yet parted with my $500 (probably would have on the Koufax) I enjoy this thread. Sure there are a few pffffftttts. But it's always neat to see what is being offered.

In Stephens defense, $400 is close to $500 and those cards are only a few decades from being in the right section.

This T216 Kotton - McGraw is guaranteed to receive a numerical grade from PSA, SGC, and BVG. I assume the stain at the top of this card is from tobacco.
