None of my business I guess but wouldn't it be more realistic to trade the cards for money and then trade the money for land?

You've got a great collection here, which would net quite a bit on auction these days! Just to continue to play devil's advocate, I am willing to bet good money that the choice of properties in the hands of those who value vintage baseball cards is far more limited than the choice of properties in the hands of those who value dollars
